Review:
I am a sucker for combining music with horror, it just makes sense unlike this film. Oh don't get me wrong it's a fabulously absurd ride and it's ridiculous and laughable all the while but more as a comedy than a horror flick. This group goes to a hick town to perform their awesome metal ballads, only things aren't quite as they seem here. The story ends up involving cardboard cut-outs of the Beatles, Hitler, zombies, midgets you name it, it's all here in garish color with little explination. We even get a romantic story too! The film can't decide where it's trying to go or what it's trying to be but half the fun is trying to figure it out. Still it's a rockin' good time if you like hilariously strange and cheaply made films.
