Review:
This is a cute little horror movie from Mr. Bava about a bridal designer who has a problem. He likes to murder brides in his gowns on their wedding night! Why will come to you if you watch the film, but it was certainly easy to follow for a giallo/slasher. This is one that even non-giallo fans should get something out of and it's really a rather fun little piece. It's not all that bloody, though I may have watched a severly edited version this time, as I remember there being loads more red when I saw it as a kid. The voice overs and stylistic way this was shot with creepy mannequins gives nice atmosphere, it just has a really obnoxiously distracting soundtrack that is hard to shake. Not Bava's best but a decent beginner's Italian horror film.
