Review:
The first film was a bit dull, but this one is more of a teen comedy loosely based on the first one. This time Mary Lou Maloney is back and angry and trying to avenge her death of course (because why else would you come back?). This time around it's more of an intentional horror comedy and it has some fun deaths and the '80s vibe is strong on this one...in a good way really. Definitely illogical and silly in places and it could use more corpses, but still it manages to surpass the first one. The third one is still the best bet though, it's even sillier but it's ever so watchable and fun. Anyhow in this one Mary Lou Maloney learns that the man who murdered her has a son ready to go the prom. He has a date in a girl named Vicki, so logically she takes over Vicki's body and starts committing crimes as her...oh and of course she goes after her killer's son too. There is some blood shed and although it's cheesy and a bit slow you could do much worse than this one.
