Review:
If you've seen the '70s version than this won't surprise you much at all as both stories are pretty much the same, the only thing that changes is the style and the years really. This is a very classy well-done film, almost elegant yet it still has some cool effects and it manages to be creepy and doomed feeling. The acting is quite impressive, and the ending is one of the best possible. If you don't know about the story, we meet a doctor who ends up involved in a bunch of cases where people are claiming that they know people who aren't who they say they are although they appear the same. Then they start to find the mysterious pods and they learn something much more sinister is going on. Very cool story, fast paced and interesting to the core, one of the best early sci-fi classics even though I do prefer the '70s remake even just slightly.
