Review:
Y'know, I'm not always a big fan of serial killer films (especially serious ones) but this one is engaging and extremely well done. Anyhow, our murderer (which is supposedly Hannibal Lecter) is pretty random and unique and it causes the FBI quite the problem tracking him down and finding out what he'll do next. It's a bit strange to get used to as Anthony Hopkins is nowhere in sight, but this guy does a pretty good job of being strange, and well this one did come first. The film actually does do a good job of portraying the real life a serial killer might have including normalcy and of course the demented stuff too. Pretty claustrophobic feeling and some intense scenes make this a must view. Just don't expect this to be part of the "Silence Of The Lamb" series, judge this one all by itself for best enjoyment.
