Review:
This is actually one intense film, and it's highly enjoyable despite the distinct lack of blood and body count (unfortunately). Weller (who apparently always talks like he did in Robocop) has a wife (Shannon Tweed none the less) and Son who go on vacation. Weller stays behind and while they are gone he learns he has a rat problem. At first he goes about things rationally, y'know setting traps and whatnot, but shortly it seems like the rat is mocking him. That and the rat is clearly abnormally large and intelligent as it's kind of like a home alone style booby trap thing at times. Of course Mr. Weller starts to go entirely insane and basically ruins the house in order to try to get the rat problem in check. There are some intense scenes where the rat is stalking him, and well he actually does appear to be going mad (but I would be too were I in that predicament). An interesting style of rat thriller that is definitely worth watching but it could have used some death to perk it up.
