Review:
Very much a direct remake of the original in every regard, I guess the big thing was that I didn't like the actors as well in this version as I did in the original. That and I see no reason why it should have been remade (especially in the exact same way), it just seems pointless. Well the story of course is about the Thorn couple, although the wife is pregnant she miscarries and they learn she cannot have another pregnancy. Father Spilleto tells the father that another born child had just lost his mother so they could take him in and raise him as their son. They do so and of course Damien is now part of their family. Shortly after the Nanny commits suicide, and the replacement seems to be teaching the child about it's powers (as it's the devils of course). The story is definitely an old favorite and the execution is alright, but why watch this when you can watch the original?
