Review:
I was quite disappointed with this one, usually Jodie in a thriller is a really great thing but I suppose it does depend on the thriller. I actually found this tale to be rather boring and unclaustrophobic which was exactly the opposite of what they seemed to be going for. It's about a Woman and her Daughter who move into this new home, but there is a state of the art panic room built in. The panic room is supposed to be extremely secure and people can't get in. Of course they are burgled shortly after by three buffoons, so they lock themselves in there. Unfortunately what the criminals need is in the panic room they've secured themselves in so they aren't exactly as safe as imagined. I suppose it's not all that bad on paper but for whatever reason the execution is definitely lackluster. To prove this fact even further go to anywhere that sells used dvds and witness the many copies of this one sitting there. It's too bad this one didn't pan out because it definitely showed promise.
