Review:
Firstly, this isn't bloody and it's not jumpy scary, but it's conceptually eerie and atmospheric. It's PG-13 horror at it's best! We go to the story of an average family with a teenager, a young daughter and a young son. The daughter seems to be picking up supernatural signals through the t.v. and strange tricks keep being played on the family. It's a rather unique and creative tale which makes this all the more necessary to watch. Carol Anne (O'Rourke) ends up being sucked into the spirit world where they have to find a way to save her. It's quite the flick and I would definitely recommend it, but I actually find the story of the real "Poltergeist Curse" more interesting than the actual movie itself.
