Review:
I actually only saw this one because the PVR screwed up, the tv listings had this as the 1988 film "Pulse" (with the evil electricity) but instead I got this one. It's a weird film, about a woman (Stowe) and her daughter who appears to be a mindless flake really. They stop for coffee on a road trip home and run into a hitchhiker (Phillips) who they pick up. The two girls get on so well that the daughter runs away with Bijou to join a cult or something. It's not a terrible concept but it's completely lacking explanation most of the time plus it's not a very satisfying flick. I sure wish the tv listings hadn't lied, yet I stuck it out until the ending so it couldn't have been "that" bad.
