Review:
One of the very few times when I actually did like the remake better, although this has some things going for it the remake doesn't. The real difference is that the story seems much more clearly explained in the remake, whereas here nearly everyone seems to be psychic so there aren't really logical reasons for people knowing what they know if that makes any sense? Of course this is the tale of Sadako, an evil little girl who has the ability to create a video tape that kills. Well to be exact seven days after you watch the tape she shows up and takes your life. Where this one shines is that the girl playing Sadako is extremely creepy...moreso than the little girl in the remake. Particularly where she climbs out of the well with the no fingernails and the creepier than hell disjointed walk that freaks me right out. I definitely think if you enjoyed the remake you should watch this and you will probably like it, I just wish it weren't so muddled is all!
