Review:
Before you go any further you should know this should be rated a turkey, but I have no turkey icon. Also I did really enjoy it in spite of the fact it's likely one of the poorest made films of all time. I think the ingredients you need to enjoy this film are a love of super bad films, the ability to laugh at terrible metal music, you must appreciate terrible effects and well, you mustn't be in the mood for a serious horror film or even a movie that is remotely scary. In fact, if you want a silly musical comedy which incidentally involves the devil, then this is a must see. It starts out typically enough, a hair band called The Tritons go out to an abandoned farmhouse with their chicks to focus and write some new righteous songs. Thing is, soon members of the band start being murdered by Satan and his minions (aka the plastic rubber monsters). Just when you think you have it figured out, Thor (who actually does have albums out...seriously) provides a surprise twist ending you wont' soon forget. Hilariously acted, the music is horrible, and I think I coulda done a better job with the special effects (if they went to the dollar store). On the pro side, it doesn't bore as there is always something to laugh at, and it's memorable if nothing more (I'm thinking starfish scene). Still well worth watching for fans of shlocky ridiculous garbage!
