Review:
I'm really surprised I haven't watched this until just recently as it's definitely a fun little creative piece from the '80s. It's a humorous tale of a teen named Charlie who finds out that his neighbor is a vampire. Charlie loves horror films and everyone thinks he's making things up. Even his Mother...who invites the neighbor in for coffee (big mistake). Charlie soon enlists his friends and the host of a horror show who seems to know a lot about vampires in order to save his own behind (as the vampire knows he's onto him). This one has some nice blood, great effects, it's funny yet moments are a little creepy and it's an all around good picture. Definitely one to catch, even if Amanda Bearse is one of the leads....
