Review:
By the cover, title and from it's reputation I didn't have high hopes for this film. Fortunately it was a huge surprise when I really enjoyed the heck out of it. We have a married couple committed to an insane asylum fifteen years prior who now live out in the middle of nowhere. We follow their daughters for most of the film, one daughter has been told her parents are dead and the other regularly visits her "formerly" insane parents and brings them some sort of mystery "treat". Well it turns out that Ma is a bit of a cannibal and has comically (yet seriously) been luring folks to their place under the guise of tarrot reading. I can't give away any more, but there is gore, death, it's funny and actually really well put together with even a small air of realism. Sure you will have to be a little patient at first as it's not the fastest moving film but it will most certainly pay off I promise! Highly recommended, a lot better than you might expect!
