Review:
This is an interesting late Argento piece (one of his best from the '80s) about a young opera singer. When the star of the opera (Macbeth of course) is run over, Betty gets her chance to be in the lead. Only thing is she wasn't prepared to deal with a psychopath who would be stalking her when she got her new part. The nutso fan goes about killing those close to her in of course a gory fashion (thanks Argento!). It actually has a great start, but through the middle it starts to get a bit mucky and could be clearer. Still a fun little slasher that fans should like and newcomers should be able to appreciate too.
