Review:
Well it's probably entirely unfair that I've rated this because the second half we pretty much skipped through. I definitely got the idea, and understood what was going on...it was just tremendously boring in every way. I don't know what was wrong with John Carpenter on this particular picture (considering it's right near when he did "Halloween") but this is seriously dire. You get to watch Lauren Hutton talk to herself (and she's mighty dull) and answer the phone....repeat! Okay fine so she is being stalked by someone who sends her gifts. Nothing happens for most of the movie, then when things actually did happen they weren't as I'd hoped for at all. This is the sort of made-for-tv disaster that keeps me away from that style of film. Definitely in theory it had everything going for it, but in practice it was bloody painful!
