Review:
So Disney horror, not a very common thing and it's even less common that Disney makes a really good horror story come to life. Still this is proof it was possible as honestly I do think this would scare kids, but I really enjoyed it as an adult too. I suppose the fact that it's based around a Ray Bradbury story has a lot to do with the quality! The story is about a creepy dark circus that comes to town. Suddenly townfolks are looking in the magical mirror and seeing what they'd look like or have if things were better. An aging teacher for example looked and saw herself as a beautiful woman in her '20s. Anyhow, the evil circus is willing to grant you whatever you wish, but you don't learn the price until it's too late! It's got several creepy and somewhat frightening scenes and I'm actually surprised this did pass as a kids movie. Some of the best parts are definitely the evil carnival master, some great acting in this one! Seriously impressive Disney...why couldn't they have done something like this more often? I only wish I saw this as a kid.
