Review:
I watched this, was thoroughly unenthused, but didn't realize that it was loosely based upon real events until after when I watched a documentary about the situation. Knowing that i may appreciate this more, but it was so dull and long (2 hours) the first time around that I'm not all that tempted to find out. The film takes place as we meet a couple in a car accident, before the lady dies she mentions seeing a mothman. After her husband starts investigating where he manages to find a few who have also seen this mothman. The actual "mothman" doesn't appear very often unfortunately but that was at least an interesting character that I hadn't seen before. A very ponderous movie that doesn't really have any answers leaving everything wide open.
