Having recently watched and adored "Thriller: A Cruel Picture" it's sort of natural to gravitate towards this one. They aren't the same story exactly, it's more like Abel Ferrara watched the fore mentioned Thriller movie, then decided he needed to make it even more excessive. Did I say more excessive? Well yes in many way, it's not quite as striking and it doesn't seem to serve a "purpose" but it's still a highly entertaining rape/revenge film which most should please most. Our story starts out with meeting the lead character Thana (or Zoe Lund/Tamerlis) who is mute, beautiful and sort of a doormat at work. Things go from bad to worse when she is walking home one day. Some guy drags her into an alley, rapes her and attacks her, then when she gets in her apartment, someone has broken in and he rapes her. This time though, she gets revenge when she finds his .45 (get the title yet?). From this point on you can see she's snapped and any sort of purity is gone, she's a man hating killing machine! Anyone so much as pisses her off, bang bang bang execution style, it's fantastic and fantastically violent as well. The kicker though is the Halloween party, Thana goes dressed as a Nun and she makes one of the greatest film endings in history by shooting up the place in Nun gear....fabulous! Although this does start a little slow in the beginning I assure you it will be rewarding if you are patient, it's really one crazy rape revenge film!
